Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains what personal data flowwell.be collects, why, how long it is kept, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Data Protection Framework Act.
1. Who we are
FlowWell is the commercial name of Robin Van Camp, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in Belgium.

3. What we collect
3.1 Messages you send us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message. This reaches us in two places: it is emailed to us, and it is also stored in this website’s own database so we do not lose it.
3.2 Visitor statistics, without cookies
This site uses Jetpack Stats, run by Automattic. It counts page views and where visitors arrived from. It sets no cookies and does not identify you individually. It runs for every visitor, because aggregate counting of this kind does not require consent.
3.3 Google Analytics, only if you accept
If you press Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4. It tells us which pages get read, how visitors found us and whether people reach the contact page. If you press Decline, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded. The script is not merely disabled, it is never fetched.
We have turned off Google’s advertising features. We do not use this data for remarketing, and we do not link it to any advertising account.
3.4 Technical requests to other services
Loading any web page means your browser asks other servers for files, and those servers see your IP address. On this site those are:

Booking a call sends you to Calendly, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy.
4. Cookies
With consent declined or not yet given, this site sets no cookies at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets these two:

Your choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage under fw_consent. That never leaves your device and is not readable by us.
5. Changing your mind
Clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser and the banner returns on your next visit, with nothing carried over. In most browsers this sits under Settings, Privacy, and then site or cookie settings. You can also email contact@flowwell.be and we will confirm what we hold.
6. Why we are allowed to process this

8. Who we share with
We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising. Data reaches only the service providers listed in section 3.4, and only to the extent needed to serve this website. Google processes analytics data as our processor under its own data processing terms, and may transfer data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to it. You can also withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was lawful before you withdrew it.
